Does anyone know what the current phone number is of the American Institute in Taiwan? For some reason, when I try to call AIT at the Taipei location, which the AIT website says is (+886) (02) 2162-2000, the operator recording says that no such number exists. The same thing happens wheny I try calling the AIT Kaohsiung branch at (+886) (07)238-7744; it also says the number doesn't exist.

-Thanks

A shame you have no responses. If you understood the recording--ie it was in English-- then it came from an American exchange. It means the call didn't reach this side. If it had, the recording would have been in Chinese. I would check your long distance codes and try again.
