I have a clean FBI criminal background check, but I did receive a minor in possession of alcohol when I was 17.
It was dismissed and taken off of my record by 18.
My questions are:
1. Is there anyway this would disqualify from teaching in South Korea?; and
2. Do I have to admit to this on the application?
I'm just looking for opinions, but hopefully someone has similar experience. |

Ther'es a separate board for Korea, but in general, if it's off the record, it's off. Legally, yes, I'm sure you should admit it, but like I said, if it's taken off your record, there would be no way they could find out.
Not that I personally would lie, but I beleive if you told the truth, you wouldn't get the job. |

We are not supposed to discuss Korean related topics on this forum - you have to go to the Korean boards (separate registration required).
To answer your question = it is a non issue, your CRC is clean; do not mention it
