Apparently Wall Street language schools have grown as there are about 5 branches, and it seems that AUA has been declining.
Is there an age limit at Wall Street?
Are there any restrictions on hiring practices for Wall St? |

There are 7 branches................and you have to be under 45 and errrr 'decent looking' due to the nature of the clientele. Young, well-heeled ladies etc.
No old fuddy-duddies. |

Is that an official (blatantly ageist) policy, or do they just give another excuse for rejecting a 45+ applicant? It is good to know whether it's worth the trouble of even applying to such places for those of us in the "fuddy-duddy" range.
Either way, it is truly sad that qualifications, experience, and dedication mean less than a "marketable" appearance in so many schools. |
