ive got my first interview in vietnam with EQuest (http://equest.edu.vn/) in HCMC on Friday. Has anyone any experience with this company?
do I need to bring these with me to the interview?
Original Birth Cert
Passport
Original Degree Parchment
Original TEFL cert
Criminal Record Check
Reference letters
...or does all that come at a later stage? |

I put photocopies of some of that stuff onto a USB and let them print it at the initial interview. I wouldn't let anyone have the originals unless I had signed a contract, begun working and they were getting me a work visa (confirmed).
I interviewed with EQuest and was interested. I may approach them again when my current contract is up.
They sound interested and may wish to photocopy the stuff. I wouldn't even bring anything that was sealed at the source though. Mistakes happen. |

i did a demo lesson for them yesterday; a class of 3 teachers, not actual students. It was for 1 hour. I would have been more comfortable with 30 fourteen-year-olds but it went well i think. its hard to know as all my teaching experience is in europe and not asia. we'll see! |
