I unfortunately lack a credit card - I waited too long to renew my HSBC one, and must go through all of the paperwork again. I've found a reasonably priced flight through Air India (online), and would like to book it.

Anyone know of a company that would be able to book this for me? I can ask friends, but I'd rather not inconvenience them.

I've worked with and gotten good rates from flighttravelco in Saigon. They accept cash. However, the general rule is that internet rates are only available on the internet, largely having to do with the reduction in staffing needs that is accomplished by having an automated on-line ticket sales avenue. Anyways give them a try, I believe their number and website can be found via google search with name above. On a different note, inconveniencing your card-wielding mates is not too much of an inconvenience, especially if you trust each other, and you make sure to get him or her a meal or a few beers for the trouble
