Anyone ever do this?* How long would it take and about how much would the cost be... I used to live in Thailand and would like to take the slow route to reflect on times past... Also what about getting a Visa at the border??* Any problems I need to be aware of??*
I plan on arriving on the 25 of May... I was thinking I could teach English... Is this time of year ok for that?* |

That could be a very slow trip. I think there is only one "functioning" train route in Cambodia. It runs from near the Thai border to Phnom Penh and runs at most once every 2 days. Busing from BKK to PP is much more common, but use a reputable bus company that won't squeeze you for money the whole way. |
