I've just got to ask, as someone who left a job in Narita because I don't feel like getting an x-ray per day in exchange for a take-home of maybe 17000 yen, why are places in Chiba and Tokyo still hiring, and what are the ethics of it? I mean, I know lots of people in the area feel safe (I don't, but we can agree to disagree on that) , and they're hiring adults and adults can make their own decisions, but shouldn't there be disclaimers on ads from areas affected by the radioactivity? Shouldn't Dave's require it or put up a banner or something? Like, you will be moving to a place with radioactive iodine in the water but don't worry the government assures us you probably won't get cancer even though the science on that isn't exact? I wonder what people on this forum think the ethics on these ads are. |
