Are Uludag and Bursa Technical Universities the same?

When I Google BTU, the search references Uludag but none of the articles explain the relationship between the two. If you know first hand about BTU, would you share what you know?

I don't think they are the same. Uludag University concentrates on medicine, engineering, natural sciences and art and was established in 1975.

Bursa Technical University is a newly established state university with 6 faculties, starting in 2011 -2012.

Thanks, and I had found this site, too, but not much more.

What confused me was also seeing a few websites that refer to Uludag as Bursa Technical University.

Can anyone out there confirm whether these schools are affiliated? BTU is going to deliver programs in engineering, forestry, natural sciences, as well, so... could it have sub-divided?

Dedicated, do you know anything about Bursa and the quality of life there?
