Can anyone help me with this -I've tried to contact them from the UK, but haven't been able to get through on the website numbers. Thanks to anyone who can shed any light.

I am pretty sure they closed down about four years ago.
They just went progressively down hill.

All right -thanks for that -I suppose it got swept away in the EF tide -a shame really, I needed a reference from when I worked for them. Strange, as the website is still up...

Oh what fun I had a the English Centre, one of the best places in Istanbul to work when I was there. But that was many moons ago. I was sad to hear it is no more. Why is there no tearful emoticon?

Crying or Very sad there you go, Billy Orr my son!*

It is sad, though -it was a great little school -do you remember Cengis in the cafe -what a nice chap he was. And obviously Tufan Bey was quite memorable. And the various teachers...

*did you see what I did there?!

Yes, very good, but shouldn't there be a question mark er as****, sorry can't bring myself to write your chosen name.

I enjoyed the facebook photos, the decor, the view, brought it all back. In my day it was on the floor below, I think. Only one person in the photos was there in my time, dear S****** Hanım. It was a long time ago when I was there. How time has passed.

You're right, there should be a question mark, but there isn't.

No have a look back at your post: 'but shouldn't there be a question mark'

Oh, the irony!

Carry on.
