Hello
Does anyone know whether it is possible, and relatively easy to get a medical exam done in Hong Kong 'one-stop-shop' style like in Mainland China, suitable for the Z Visa (Work Permit) application required for the mainland?

Definitely possible, and even easy, but it will cost you a fair whack of dollars as you will be wanting to go to private clinic (assuming you want written and spoken info and instructions in English). Quality Healthcare (www.qhms.com) is a reputable chain of clinics that deals with expats.
Another possibility would be somewhere like Hope Clinic (http://www.hopemacau.com/) in Macau - yes, the MoFA office there can process Z visas too - and apart from Friday and Saturday nights the accommodation noticeably cheaper than HK too. |
