Last time listed here under topics was in 2007.
Good ads (of course they usually are).
Nice website.
Great Interviewer (New Zealander).
Slow response time after interview.
Little knowledge of various other countries education credentials (since the interviewer is an English speaker this should be easy to learn from online research or talking to other teachers in the program).
Another issue is that they ask for very little education from their teachers but then keep asking why a teacher doesn't have more education.
Contract offer - different age group and location than advertised and the contract says one thing and the website says another - and it says they can then transfer you again - and a HUGE issue is it says multiple schools.
Also now being told shared instead of private housing.
They are currently advertising vacancies - but offered me a different position instead.
The thing is I am willing to take a job in various conditions - but I have issues with lies and half truths - just be honest upfront in what is on offer.
I really want to be at one school/location - rather than farmed out to multiple schools (the reason I initially applied is because it was to be at 1 school).
I want private housing (sharing with someone I know after arrival is different).
Okay anyone work for them recently?
Meanwhile I will continue to look at my other contract offers - 1 school/private housing. |

Can you get your "friend" to respond"?
I am surprised they are located at one school. |
