I've been using computers in some form or another for two decades now, and I still had trouble with that durn avatar. Maybe if it were as easy as you think, LA, there wouldn't be as many posts about it.

I agree Denise. I think I might have actually been one of those posters. I tried on numerous occasions and I kept getting thet dam.n red cross. When I put my current(only) one on I thought to myself 'right, this is the last time' And it worked!!! I have thought about changing it but I might get that red cross back again. so no change until it is foolproof

When I first joined, I never wanted an avatar, so I could be remembering wrongly, but couldn't you host your avatar here in the cafe about a year ago?

Wonder why that changed?

I've been working with the internet in various forms since 1994 (oh god, 10 years... Shocked ) and I still sometimes come across things that I just have to accept and learn to live with. This avatar thingy has been the latest example of that for me.

Have a good day,
Lozwich.
