Hi, I have an online interview for a job in a pre-school. I have experience teaching primary children but not 3-5 year olds. While i feel fairly confident that I can adapt songs and games into my lesson plans, I am a bit concerned about the stress level that this role may have.
I am bipolar, and as this will be my first paid teaching job, I am wondering if the attention span of young children and the resultant stress on myself as a teacher may result in a trigger for illness.
While I am taking all precautions over there, I am wondering if a role teaching older children/adults would be more appropriate for me?
The pay for this job is quite an incentive, at 2500 tl a month. The job is 8.30-5pm mon-fri.
Any thoughts/advice would be most welcome. |
