Osama bin Laden was reportedly killed in a raid by Navy SEALs.

I certainly hope there is no impending retaliation against the perceived 'infidels' working around the Middle East, but those that are there teaching should be particularly careful for a considerable while.

I have a weird feeling that...a few weeks or months from now, Osama bin Laden will show up in a new video and say in Arabic: "Hahaha! You stupid infidels thought you killed me. You really think I'm dumb enough to stay in such a conspicuous stronghold. I'm still alive!! Hahahaha!"

Some say he was killed years ago - and was co-opted by the CIA as a Goldstein figure of hatred. All previous videos being elaborate fakes...yawn. Now others will surely say that this operation was a fake too.

Would never have happened if they'd displayed him Che style.

They should release any genuine photos of Osama's corpse.

I don't care how gruesome the pictures are. We've seen worse at a horror movie.

Sad to see so many people celebrating this with gleeful triumphalism. Friends' Facebook comments are childish to the extreme. Reminds me of Middle Eastern types dancing in the streets and shooting off AK-47 rounds skywards after beheading a US marine...
