Hi all,
I'm new to this forum, and i am enquiring about teaching English (the language that is, not the subject) in Turkey next year. I have a BA in history (ancient major, modern minor)and last year i completed a Diploma in Education (high school).
I'm just trying to get info on whether i'm qualified to pursue a job. I'm willing to get a TESOL certificate this year. My only teaching experience so far is the 60 days of prac i had to do for my Diploma. The only other experiece i'll have by next year is casual work. Do i have much of a chance without having done two years full-time experience or having majored in English at uni?
Also, what's the school calendar over there?
Any info would be great.
