Hi Everyone,
I arrived in Taiwan on April 28th, spent a week in Taipei and have now made my way down to Kaohsiung.
In Taipei I interviewed with Hess but was told that they are now recruiting for August contracts (just missed the June contract start deadline for applications).
I'm hoping to be able to find something in Kaohsiung as I really like it here. Any advice regarding the names of schools to follow up with and investigate / apply at? I have a bachelors degree and TEFL/TESL/TESOL certification but am not a registered teacher in my home country. As far as I understand things, this means I will only be able to apply at chain schools / cram schools (private schools outside of the public school system).
Also, any tips on what to do while in Kaohsiung? Just been here two days and am still exploring the city.
