Hi, everybody --

I was offered a job at Tongji Univ. for next year, and wanted to take a look at the teacher accommodations. I've tried communicating with the staff, but haven't heard back. Is there anybody out there who can tell me where they are and what they are like? It sounded like it is just a hotel room with a bathroom, which gave me pause, since I have a pet. Also, could I get some info. on where the apartment/hotel is? I'm going to go have a look today, but I could well be going on a fool's errand.

Don't know about that gig specifically but you'll go nuts in a hotel room with en suite after a couple of weeks especially if the winters are foul.
They have/had this type of accom at Dalian U of Technology.
Unless it's one or two BR flat with own kitchen and bathroom with laundry facility don't even think about it.
