The BCMI booze emporium formerly in the diplomatic quarter has been shut down (probably because it came within the police cordon during the 'unrest') and is now next to the Gulf Hotel. They are still selling McAndrews for 4.5BD!
The Khalifa family's gold reserves are dwindling as the Saudis have stopped coming over the causeway and big corporations are following them to Dubai. Expat patronnage is therefore encouraged and may restore them to the manner in which they are accustomed. |
