Hi all, we all know about Korea's 4+ year policy on requiring Criminal Record Checks, but China and Vietnam are new to me. I am an expat who hasn't been in his home country for nearly 6 years and I wonder how recent a clearance should be? I have one for 2.5 years ago and one for 2 years ago. Are these too long ago for Vietnam or China?

Schools in China don't require the check... or at least the schools I know about don't. There could be some that do but it's not a general requirement for employment in China.
