I was reading some post about how job-processing gets done. I saw that a few places expect original copies of Degrees/diplomas and certification. This will be something new for me, the people in Jiangsu never asked for it.

The first year I had them all with me, ready to go, but my school just made copies and sent those off to the government agencies. Therefore the Government didn't need the originals right?

That was 3 years ago, and I am trying to work in Shanghai now. After the first year I returned some of my papers to their place of glory on the walls of my parent's house.

I have high-res copies on my computer in .pdf, which have been used for renewing these last 2 years.

Will copies be enough for the Officials in Shanghai? Has anybody had recent experience with what is needed in Shanghai?
