Im moving to Hong Kong from shanghai, and want to know if its possible to just take all my money in my ICBC union pay card and use it there, instead of changing all my cash into dollars? |

You should be able to use UnionPay in HK, but you will find that it is not accepted in as many retail outlets as in larger mainland cities. You also ought to check with ICBC on the mainland as to whether they charge for currency conversion / "foreign" transactions if you're in one of the SARs (BoC definitely does!). |
