Yamaha, this is what a job in Taiwan's all about for the majority of people other than the stuffed shirts some may think themselves to be and I'm not apt to say ALL are here for just teaching but that this is a FORUM where many and any can decide what topic they wish to discuss.
Have fun this holiday. Or are you teaching? Think about it, Yamaha. I'm an anthropologist. Would teaching English be my only subject or those I've posted? If this is what the moderators prefer, I guess it's just like trying to find the missing link between living in Taiwan and being a semi-teacher-tiny-tot trotter boasting he's a pro and all ready found his roots. |

Your 'logic' makes no sense.
Perhaps you should read the 'Rules of Conduct'
This is a discussion forum and resource center for teachers and prospective teachers from all over the world.
This forum is not any one members personal playground. It is not an open forum where you are free to express whatever opinion you may hold....
Finally, this is not a free-speech board. If you came here thinking it is, you came to the wrong place. If a free-speech board is what you are seeking, you may want to consider starting a personal blog or spending your time on a non-moderated forum that better suits your needs.
I'm off to the beach, but thanks for your concern. |

By the way, quite a few topics on here aren't teaching related....
The best thing you could do is not answer if you're not interested. It's not that complicated. |

there is a huge forum over at forumosa.com where people are allowed to discuss whatever they want. That would be an excellent place to pose your questions. |
