I am considering leaving for Taiwan in late July / early August in order to secure employment.
I have a Bachelor's degree in English, as well as TEFL 100-hr certificate.
I know to stay away from Hess; however, I am considering talking further to Kojen and KNS Language Institute.
What city should I fly into?
When I get there, what approach should I take to looking for positions? Am I best off having a list of the language schools and going to them first?

Are there any places that I should definitely go to in order to seek a position?

I am willing to go anywhere in the world, but right now I am really considering Taiwan. My one minor concern is that people say many things about the Taiwanese people not wanting to hire "ugly" people. I'm not sure if I'm "ugly," but I did have about a dozen nose surgeries because of a birth defect, and it's fairly obvious. Is this going to prevent me from getting hired?

Thanks.
