Can people recommend textbook series for children?
If so, for each series you mention, can you particularly suggest:

1) Suitability for age group: 7-9, 10-12, 13-15

2) Structure type (e.g. grammatical, theme/topic, functional)

3) Any other comments

I know this may be a touch esoteric for those of you who are allocated course books and just have to get on with it, but it may still be worthwhile, as at some point in your career, you may be the experienced person who has to choose. So any comments would be appreciated.

The only children's book I used was Superkids and that was a long time ago. I used it for kids around 1st and 2nd grade. It was ok, but needed a lot of supplementary material.

I finally gave up and just created my own curriculum based around the MES English website.
