Greetings,
Does anyone know of some good Japanese software for learning the kanji? (I don't know anything about Japanese, but I mean the symbols ).
A friend of mine is doing a Japanese exam and has no access to resources and would like some kind of program to practice the most common ones, about 2000 in number.
Thanks,
Mike. |

Where is your friend located? If they are in Japan, I would recommend heading to their local software shop and looking around in the kids educational section where you can pick up some pretty simple software for teaching kids the Grade 1-6 Kanji. These are equivalent to the 2000 or so you need for most communication. THis is what I did as foreign made stuff cost an unbelievable amount.
Or you can go online to

or a personal favourite
