This summer I'm offering private TOEFL and IELTS tutoring for anyone preparing for the exams.
I've had a lot of experience in getting students through these exams and can offer the strategies and techniques needed to get that all-important high score.
My tutorial fee is 100TL an hour but can be negotiable if you're ready to pay in advance or if you're free to do several hours a week.
You can contact me through my email address:

Much luck! |

Before I sign up, can I ask what your qualifications are? |

Me, me!!
Hand up!!
I've got a question, teacher!!
What's the difference in 'teacher' and 'student', teacher??
Who does 'Job Discussion' relate to? A job being a 'student'? Or a job being a 'teacher'?
Who's your audience? |

I have to agree with spiral78. This is a discussion board for teachers, not for students. The IELTS/TOEFL exams are for students....you cannot advertise lessons on this board.
I'm also concerned, as an IELTS examiner myself, that you sign off by saying "Much luck".....this is incorrect English. And you are going to prepare students for the IELTS?? |

Although I agree with the point you are making, I think that anyone might understandably be confused by the line at the top of this page that says:
"The Internet's Meeting Place for ESL/EFL Students and Teachers from Around the World." (Just below the "Job Discussion Forums" title.) |

I did think of that, AGS. But if the OP has taken the time to read anything at all on the Jobs board, it's pretty obvious that it's not a student hang-out here.
However, 'can/can't' is a bit too definitive for me - OP has indeed got the ability to post adverts for lessons. Just that it's unlikely to be productive.
Another important point: where in the heck is the OP located? Again, audience unclear.....
Are we talking Istanbul? Other region? Do you travel country-wide to teach? |

Ok, a bit of soft trolling was to be expected, so I'm basically ignoring most of those unnecessarily negative comments.
A couple of fair points raised, though:
- Qualifications: I've got a CELTA and almost 7 years experience teaching general English, TOEFL, IELTS, business English in schools, privately, and in company. I've also been designing my own course based loosely on the "Accelerated Learning" model.
- Location: ISTANBUL, ISTANBUL, ISTANBUL!!!
Thanks

Aren't we all teachers here? Why not review your marketing strategy? |
