|
|
I have negotiated and been offered a job and the potential employer has sent me a contract and asked for other stuff like medical check form to be sent back to him. I suggested coming in on a Z visa obtained at a Chinese Embassy but he said come in on a tourist visa. This makes me suspicious. Why might he prefer me to come in on a tourist visa and not a Z visa other than he may have offered the job to someone else and he doesn't know whether they have accepted or not? |

if you come on a tourist visa you are on your own.
nobody owes you anything.
you hold 100% of the risk.
you have been warned. |

Some employers can convert a tourist visa to an RP. Some cannot convert a business visa. You need to get e-mail contacts of current FTs there to find out whether the employer is legit, has a licence to employ FTs and can convert. Without this info, it's certainly a big gamble. Best to go the proper way.
