Scootering around Taiwan is a delightful experience during 35 degrees. You can run through any red light you choose. You can drive up and down any one way street. You can cut cars off and they can cut you off, too. Today, I was laughing so hard at a particular fat woman that watched me creep step by step through a red light with thousands of cameras and eyes around. Before that, I jogged for 5 kilometers, so I was wearing a towel over my head under my helmet to help prevent the ole stinky smell caused by sweat. Anyway, it is a joy to scooter around town. But there is only one thing you need to do--LOOK OUT!  |
