How many riyals in cash can you take out of Riyadh on your person via UAE bound for Europe?
Is it better to sell riyals and buy euros in riyadh or do it in Europe?
Any ideas on what to do in UAE airport for a seven hour wait? |

what airport is it? DXB is quite interesting. Spas, foot massages, the works. and free internet. Not too many bargains on the shopping tho. Prices for electronics seems to be almost double from what you can get in the states. |

Buy your Euros from a Moneychanger in KSA. Or transfer to a bank account.
If carrying more that 10.000 Euros in cash or bearer bonds inton EU you MUST declare them at customs.
KSA also has rules abpuit exporting casj but I do not remeber what the ceiling is. (70.000 SR ?)
Most places in Europe will give you a losuy rate for Saudi curency. |

1) You have to declare if you are carrying more than SR. 60,000 in any instrument (cash, checks, gems, etc) when travelling to or from Saudi.
2) Change your SR to Euros in Saudi before you travel. Not at a bank, but at a moneychanger.
3) Dubai Airport is the building with the largest floor area in the world. Count all the tiles on the floors or something! Other than that, window shopping, reading books/magazines at the bookstores, listening to CDs at the music places, etc. |
