I have been offered a few jobs and have narrowed my options but would like some advice.
The first is as a teacher in an international school in Riyadh. I like working with kids but can't find any info on the recruiter or school. Prime education posted the job, National Education Company did the interview and the school is Al Hadara. Does anyone have any onfo? I have typed a number of keywords into the search engine and nothing comes up.
The other jobs are in UAE and Oman, teaching in pre-vocational courses but from what I have been told, the students are apathetic, spoiled rich kids and I have had enough of that for a while.
Any thoughts?? |

Well, you haven't told us the employers in either the UAE or Oman. Personally I would choose either of them over some unknown school in Riyadh.
BTW, few of the Omani students are rich. Most are pleasant, if not academically oriented or terribly hard-working.

I have never heard of the school in Riyadh, I would suggest avoidance is the way to proceed.
Most 'International Schools' in KSA are dodgy institutions. |

Thanks VS and Scott47,
I didnt bother naming the other employers VS, because I have already done some research on one and currently work for the other in Vietnam; Manpower in Oman and British Council in UAE, who I work for now.
But I would really like to work with kids again, so any information any other posters have on the Al Hadara school or the recruiter or company would be appreciated.

The choice between BC in the UAE and a dodgy unknown international school that no one has ever heard of in Riyadh. That decision would take me less than a nanosecond. I wouldn't touch this school with a bargepole. If this is an "International School" for Saudi kids, I am pretty confident that after a year there, you would never want to teach kids... ever... again.
Seriously...

The American International School in Muscat is a pretty awesome place. Both my kids went there and had the time of their lives. Saudi is a dodgy place to live compared to the others. |
