Currently I do not have a TEFL certification. I would like to move to Russia and take a course to obtain one and then begin teaching in Russia. However, what I am hearing is that I will have a 3-month visa that will basically cover me while I'm taking the course, but I'll need to leave Russia when this visa expires and apply for a new visa (unless the school where I'm obtaining the TEFL offers me employment, in which case I can get a visa extension)? Is this correct? |

The only school in Moscow that offers the CELTA is BKC-IH. Any other courses aren't really worth it.
Most schools if they employ you legitimately can extend your visa though. |
