I'm looking at banks to start an account that will give me good international access.
Citibank? There's a competitor here in Japan called Shinsei but I doubt anyone here has heard of it.

Just so you are aware, most banks (even of the same brand name) often work at arm's length from country to country and that includes CITI and HSBC (local country banking restrictions).

Odd how you can buy goods and services easily everywhere with credit cards but as you say banks are so restrictive. |
