Hi there. I am just wondering what time of year do most universities start recruiting in China for next year (September 2012)?
I am currently studying a distance CELTA (the one by NCFE) and realistically think I will finish this and the teaching practice - say May time next year.
When do I start looking for university teaching jobs in China?
The reason is a friend used to teach in an international school in Korea, and said that most international schools recruit around January time
Any advice? Thanks Simon |

You should start looking and applying for university jobs around April or early May of next year. Schools usually try find out current teacher's intentions for the following year around that time and once they know those then they start looking to fill gaps where necessary. |
