I was looking at some job postings in the south china morning post and I saw a posting for a NET position that had "under Refined English Enhancement Scheme" written on it.
I googled it and it looks like it's sponsored by the EDB but is it equivalent to the net scheme?
there's no mention of salary so I can't compare. |

I think that the scheme mentioned is where the school receives an EdB grant to help out their English programme. As far as I know, this happens if a school has a large percentage of students from the mainland. I'd guess that the teaching position is funded by the grant.
I'd also guess that the salary would be lower than a NET Scheme job. Most NET slots would've been filled by now I think --- we report back to school in a few weeks. |
