I was recently offered a job with Jiangsu Haimen High School .
Does anyone have any experience with this school or the city (Haimen)?

I cant find anything on the internet about the school and very little about the city.

Ill appreciate any info .

Haimen is quite near Shanghai, just across the Yangtse in Jiangsu Province. There are several high schools there, but Haimen Zhongxue has a good reputation. See http://www.ks5u.com/fsch/shdetail.asp?ID=181 . Sorry, the website is only in Chinese.

Breaking into Haimen might be a bit tough at first. It could very well be you are the first foreigner to enter Haimen. But you can bloody well do it I guess.

If you are the first foreigner, chances are Haimen itself might get attached to you so tread carefully and with compassion.

I looked for any info. on Haimen and it was a long and hard process for me. It seems Haimen has not been such an open place; seems like a tight-knit area. You are probably the first to go into Haimen so I wish you all the best of luck.
