The last Goverment held meetings with this man, as did the then Mayor of London Ken Livingstone. It's not such a big deal.

I'm not sure the average Joe cares too much who is advising who. Cameron is probably Obama's lap dog as it is.

Well according to those leaked dossiers recently, Obama thinks Cameron is a 'lightweight.' A bit rich coming from the empty suit that is Barack Obama, but probably right all the same.

Long ago the IRA made it clear that there would be no operations in Scotland. No operations have been carried out on Scottish soil since the events in Duke Street, Glasgow in the 1920's

Really? I see a lot of Americans tripping over themselves to not look racism and to appear "tolerant" and "progressive". Much of the racism in the US comes from minorities towards whites. Take a look at crime rates in the US and then look at how journalists report crime.

Fascism? I stopped using that word when I was 16.

Can't you see that the welfare state doesn't just pay the bills 'in tough times' anymore? It pays the bills AT ALL TIMES, for the deserving AND the undeserving

While I see the need for a safety net, the welfare system can create an underclass of people who never produce anything and never need to. Although the idea is that welfare will support the less fortunate, it also can create a crowd who feel entitled to everything for nothing. Everything is given to them for free, so they grow up thinking the world owes them something. That, plus the energy and aggression of young people, add up to gangs.
