I'm quite happy teaching EFL, but I'm at the point in my life now where saving money is the most important goal for me. When I was younger, I enjoyed traveling to new places, learning the language, making new friends, etc. Now that I'm older, I've lost interest in all of that. My goal now is just to bank as much money from TEFL that I can. I'm in Kimchi land now, but lately I've actually been thinking about going to Saudi to teach. I know the lifestyle there would suck for a single, thirty year old guy like myself, but the money and savings potential sounds fantastic to me.

So, anyone else on here a TEFL mercenary?
