I am close to sorting out a job in Jeddah teaching at a university/college (as yet undetermined).
From browsing through the forums it seems that the majority of colleges are not that great, and I wondered if there are any standouts or 'reasonable' places to work...?
I am expecting an offer in the region of 3500-4000 dollars a month, plus free housing.
I love living by the sea, so I think Jeddah would be a good fit for me overall. |

Dear simonenglish,
Telling your qualifications, experience, gender, and family status would be helpful to any who might like to respond.
Regards,
John |

Single, male, 10 years experience (six at university level in Japan), unrelated MA plus TESOL cert and PGCE.
I know that I could get a better job and more money if I looked around and got lucky, but to get me over there now and earning some decent cash it seems not a bad deal. Most of the uni jobs will also be gone in the next few weeks as the term is starting soon as well. |
