Hi all,
I wanted to apply for my MA in TESOL however they have two options: certification track and non-certification. Does it matter which one I do (for working in KSA)? I wanted to do the latter... |

Certification for what? Teaching K-12?
It would depend on what level you want to teach. I'd say that it depends more on your eventual use in your home country in the future. For instance in the US, there are many more job opportunities in K-12 ESL and you need the certification. (that is if you would need a full time job with benefits)

| Yea I think it's related to teaching in the US... which I'm not planning on doing at all. I'm assuming it won't matter for KSA? |

As I said, in KSA it would depend on what level you plan to teach. If you plan to teach K-12, it would be very useful. If you are like me and only interested in adults or university level, without certification is fine. (and what most teachers will have)
