Hi all,
Looking into doing a bit of online teaching. Please share how much you charge for a 60-minute online lesson. I really have no idea what the market is like.
Thanks |

Shouldn't the poll be "What does the market pay for online lessons?". I mean, you can charge $100 if you want it, but will the people you sell to buy it? I'd see what other sites charge per hour, and there are plenty of sites you could compare prices with. |

I believe the OP is asking what people are charging for lessons that students are actually paying for. |

Dear jpvanderwerf2001,
I tutor three students in Slovenia by Skype and get 30 euros an hour. They're the ones who suggested the rate (I'd probably have asked for about 20, maybe 25.) But they're all well off and can certainly afford it.
It all happened serendipitously.
Regards,
John |

Yes, this. I would think it was understood, but I could've written it more explicitly. I am interested in what people are charging--and getting, for an hour of online English teaching.
Thank you to those who have responded. |
