Hey guys.
I'm interested in possibly working in Taiwan at some point, and would like to check the place out. I've heard that my MA TESOL only route(no BA) might pose a problem, but I suppose that is another story altogether.
I work in Vietnam, and have CNY off. I've heard some mixed opinions on traveling during this time, and was wondering if anyone else could chime in? |

Air fares will be cost more, as will hotels who will double or even triple their rates. The beginning and end will see trains and buses full to capacity.
Other than that, I can't see any reason not to travel. |

The weather is not usually that nice!
In our last 3 years in Taiwan we left the island for CNY and never regretted it. In every case our friends back in the 'pei told us how bad the weather was while we were away.
We visited Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Cambodia. KL and Singapore were on the same trip. |
