Hi,

I've just been contacted for an interview with EF Wuhan. Has anyone had any experience with this branch? From reading this forum it seems like each EF branch is different. My interview is due to be held either tomorrow or the day after, so any tips, suggestions, warnings about this particular school would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jo. (btw...I'm new to the forum Smile )

I hope someone can offer direct experiences about this branch. In the meantime, I suggest you read through the thread entitled "Job Offer Checklist".

Red, Thanks for the tip. I'm still trying to find my way around the forum, but that helps. I'm going to do the interview tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get a 'feel' for what's to come (or not!!). However plenty of advice here, so at least I know what to watch out for/ask about! Tx.

Yes, try to make sure you have some good questions lined up and carefully read the contract to see what they are offering vs what you should expect. If you are interested, try to get in contact with a couple of current teachers.

I don't know much about this school, but you might want to stick your question in the Q&A or Jobs section of the local expat forum for Wuhan, am sure a few people will have some ideas.

Perhaps the most important thing of all is to talk via email to some current AND former foreign english teachers of that branch. You need independant and verifiable opinions. Any red flags forget it!

Thanks everyone for your replies and advice. Well, according to communications I had with the rep from the school, my interview was supposed to be today. However although I was on Skype at the scheduled time, the person did not get online and has not contacted me about any changes. I guess that sort of answers my questions/doubts!! Ah well...the search goes on....
