Hello all, I'm a long-time reader of the forums here, but only actually joined up fairly recently. My name is Nathan, and I am a recent Master's Degree graduate, with a focus on Intellectual and Foreign Relations history, with a bachelor's in Chinese and Japanese History. My thesis, dealing with the depictions of Asians throughout printed popular culture in early 20th century America. is due out in book form soon.

I am considering teaching abroad (interview with AEON next month) for a bit prior to enrolling in PhD courses, as a means to gain further teaching experience, as well as to hone up on my language skills.

I will not ask for any advice or whatnot, as most of what I have to ask has already been answered, or the answers will be found on my part simply by perusing the boards a bit more.

I just wanted to introduce myself, as I hope to be posting a lot in the future, and to go ahead and thank everyone here for the wealth of knowledge they have already provided me with, thus far!
