|

I"m thinking about working in Malaysia and I'm sure it is ok to ask anyone for positive ( not negative please ) feedback about working in an international school in Malaysia.
Please dont respond with comments about mismanaged projects as I'm only interested in teaching in an international school. I read all about that stuff and I just want advice on salaries in international schools, rent for housing, cost of living, social scenes away from work, getting a teaching visa? Exactly what are the tax rules? I checked online and got nothing clear What passes as interesting enough to live there? Whats the housing situtation, are we able to rent condos with amentities, such as a pool and building security? |

Waited for a few weeks for some advice about working in international schools in Malaysia, no positive advice has been given and the silence speaks volumes. The only advice offered previoius, the tax system for foreigners is absurd, all types of crime, rape, corruption, burglary, bag snatching, murder, cons, incredibly dangerouis driving standards are in over the top excess - according to reads in their own newspapers online. The same seems to apply regarding their politics and an obession with turning the country into a muslim state.
Malaya is struck of my places to work list.
Landed a nice job in Thailand, so please close down this blog. |

Anybody considering Thailand for work or travel needs to begin following the news out of Bangkok immediately in order to to stay informed about events as they unfold on a daily basis. |
