Does anyone know if Ultimate Frisbee is played in China? like to work there somewhere. for work I am considering Beijing, Wuhan, Chengdu and maybe Harbin - I had a GF in Wuhan some years ago Wink Happy to know of any other cities it is played in.

I would miss UF but can't say it is a major factor. Would have to be a fanatic for it to be so.

Also tag and Touch rugby are other sports I like which are not popular in china.

If it helps. I was walking through a park at a Chinese university the other day and two Chinese students were playing Frisbee. They told me they play 3 or 4 days a week, and yes Ultimate was the game.

Just so you know China doesn't sell "real" Frisbee's so if you come bring some good ones from home.

Thanks Peewee

Yes good Frisbees are hard to come by. Think you have to order good ones online. In fact took my own Frisbee training today and compared to the official ones mine was crap. The ultimate Frisbees glide through the air longer. there is a big difference.

A bunch of FTs in my town play all the time and participated in some tournament in BJ last year.

Using the Googletron 5001, I found this link. Looks like there is disc action in the Middle Kingdom.
