|
|
Hello,
I'm taking the bus from Lishui to Shanghai on Sunday. (9:00 a.m. departure which will take five hours) * Specifically, what is the quickest way for me to get to Pudong Airport? * I've never been to Shanghai before so I don't know where in Shanghai I'll arrive.
* Would it be best for me to take the subway/metro? If yes, how long will it take to go to the airport? Or, is there another method that you'd recommend? Please reply ASAP!!
Thanks! |

Get on the #2 subway anywhere (e.g. People's Square) and take it straight to the airport. You can transfer over to the Maglev at Longyang Rd Stn if you're really pressed for time, but getting off the subway, dragging your bags over etc, probably just as fast to stay on it. People's Square to Airport under 1 hour on line 2.

It doesn't take more than 5-10 minutes to transfer to the Maglev, and it is super fun. |

Probably you will arrive at the main Shanghai Long-Distance Bus Terminal, next door to the main railway station. Subway access should be convenient. Take Line #1 three stops to People's Square, then transfer to Line #2. If you've not visited Shanghai before, this would be an ambitious undertaking, especially with luggage. A taxi would cost about 225 RMB. |

Give yourself time and use the subway. It is rather easy. There is no need to take the Maglev. |

If you stop at Nan Zhang, then there is an airport shuttle bus, it's really nice and easy to use - costs about 20 RMB. |

Are you trying to say "nan zhan"? South Station 南站 end of line 3? |

Yes, I was trying to say 'Nan zhang'. It's the one at the beginning of line 3 - it has a long distance bus station right next to it. |
