Im arriving on my wife's visa, so technically I shouldn't be working - that said, everybody on visit visa shouldnt be working either.

My question is, has anybody come to Saudi without a job then found one on the ground?

Or, does anybody know if it is possible? and if so, would I find only bottom of the barrel jobs? How good does it look?

Dear turkzonline,

My wife (well, one of them, anyway Very Happy) came on my visa and got a local hire job as a nurse in Riyadh.

Usually, that means (much) lower pay, no benefits. She was lucky; they really needed her, so she got the full salary and benefits - but that's VERY unusual, almost unheard of.

So, I guess the answer is - it depends.

Regards,
John
