Hi all,
I am a CELTA qualified native English teacher currently searching for work in Hong Kong (from afar)... I am running out of options a bit as no-one seems to be replying to my e-mails that I send. I have 2 years experience, both with adults and children and I also have a BSc from a British University.
Are there any specific avenues that I should look into or schools I should try???

At this time of year there aren't many openings in "real" schools, so you are probably looking at language centre work ... sorry to be a wet blanket, but it is VERY difficult (not totally impossible) to land one of those jobs unless you can be physically present in HK for interviews/ demo lessons. Even worse, the couple of chains of centres I know of that are hiring from overseas are doing so because everyone who has been on the ground here for a week or more already knows to avoid those places like the plague  |
