Hi, can someone recommend me a legit dentist to possibly get a wisdom tooth pulled out? I'm in between District 8 and District 7, but wouldn't mind traveling to District 1 or Phu My Hung. A family friend contracted hep C from getting dental work done here so I'm hella wary.
Thanks |

Sorry yogurtpooh. I got my wisdom teeth pulled out in Australia years ago and it's not pleasant. But I guess if it needs to be done then that's that.
In regards to dentists in Saigon, I've used Westcoast International Dental Clinic several times and I've got no complaints whatsoever. I'm sure they are not the cheapest option out there, but when it comes to things like doctors, dentists etc, I personally don't worry too much about scrimping and my main concern is just finding someone good. Based on the work I've had done, Westcoast is comparable in quality to any dental treatment I've had in the West. Good luck with the surgery and here's the link:

Thanks. I thought I had all four of mine pulled out but I guess I've only had three... On the website it says there's often three month wait periods?? Does anyone else have any recommendations? I don't mind getting work done by a Korean person either. |

If you are interested in Westcoast, I wouldn't worry too much about the waiting period mentioned on their website. I'd just contact them and see what happens. I've been there about half a dozen times and I've never had to wait more than a few days for an appointment . |

If you go back a couple of months you will find a posting "Found a great dentist". Here name is Dr. Mary and she is in D 3. Here English is okay, clean office, professional and polite.
Excellent prices. Also, there is a French trained Viet K that was listed on Saigon ESL but I think that site is closed down, I think she is in D1. Good luck, |
