| This college has posted a job here on Dave's, but the contract is only for 11 months. Why are they only offering 11 months, what are they trying to get out of paying? Pension? I've sent an email, but of course no answer. I am sure there aren't interested in someone who is already asking questions about their contract. Advice needed from someone who has worked for a college or university in Japan. thanks! |

| I don't have any experience of this particular place, but they may have a summer break and are not looking to pay salary during that time. |

| I would strongly caution asking questions about an employer that posts here. Chances are there is someone in their organization reading the Japan Forums. Just my 2 cents worth. I would suggest finding someone here you feel you can reasonably trust and PM them instead for such a question. But anyways, best of luck to you just the same! |
